Hi :)

I started with lowering my carb a bit but increasing my protein and fat (good fat) a lot more. Cut out most of my soda (lots of carbs there) and cut back the bread, rice and empty foods, oh and cut out most low fat foods ( tons of carbs in them):), crazy hummm. I have lost about 25lbs but have lost tons of inches since last july, I also take met which has helped me a lot, my boils, rashes and yucky stuff has mostly gone away , except for a few times they make sure I don't forget them I guess hehe. I find as time goes by I seem to lower my carbs without thinking about it. Don't get me wrong I still eat carrots, potatoes, bread but make sure when I do to to eat some protein and fat with them. I think I would lose faster if I really did a very low carb diet but am happy with how I am doing, slow but sure. You could try a gentle cutback and increase it at the rate that seem to work for you, remember this is a new way of eating for life not a fad diet, so you must be able to live with it. Good Luck!! :)
