Chromium

Hi. I just found this forum and am hoping there are some knowledgeable people here. A little history: I've always had PCOS and have usually been irregular with TOM most of my life. For at least the past 15 months, I have been completely regular. It was bizarre as I didn't do anything to try to make that happen. About mid-January of 2000, I began a low carbohydrate diet (lost almost 60 lbs last year!). I've been mostly on the diet over a year now. There was never a time when I totally reverted to my old way of eating. After New Year's, I got back down to business with the diet and started taking the chromium suggested by the Protein Power people. My TOM is now about 10 days late and I've noticed an INCREASE in my hair growth rate. Does anyone think this could be caused by the chromium? I can't think of anything else I've done differently recently. The research I've done so far, seems to indicate that the chromium would help slow the hair growth rate so I'm very confused. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
