I was diagnosed in November with PCOS and Insulin Resistance. My RE put me on 100 mg of Spiro a day ( for facial haior problem) and decided to let me try a low carb diet for 3 months, before starting Met, just to see how much diet alone could do. I have lost 45 pounds (only 20 more to go!!) and feel sooo much better. Let me know if you want more info from me after my appointment on Friday. Have you had your insulin levels tested? You are welcome to e-mail me if you'd like more info. Guess I'll know a lot more at the end of the week.
