-- Jo-Nita, Just read your message regarding met dossage and weight loss. My fiance started at 500mg/day and finally is at 2,550 mg/day for the last month without any results as yet. She is in the 20-30 range of insulin and is I.R. She doesn't exercise yet (used to be almost an olympic swimmer)because she doesn't see the point until the insulin gets to normal ranges. I have to assume the role of Satan with regard to low carbing (it worked for me in one month-I lost 15 pounds and I try to help her understand that it will work. She and I can't wait for the insulin to come down. My question then after that lengthy preamble is: how long must she wait to see results with the 2550 mg of met? Thanks, Jim
