Wed. I found out that I have PCOS, after a very difficult year filled with unusual problems unexplained weight gain, hormonal problems, and reactive hypoglycemic (I am still not exactally sure what that is). My Dr. put me on Metfomin 500 mg on Wed. changing to 1000 mg in a week and started me on a 1500 calorie diet consisting of 48% carbs 22% protein and 30% fat to keep my blood sugar levels up. Is there anyone else that has had this problem, if so did you manage to loose weight this way?

I am very unsure about eatting so many carbs.

P.S. When do you start to feel better?
