Kelly,

I have been doing the weight watchers program since 11/6/00 and have lost about 24 pounds and over 27 inches. (I still have 50 pounds to go!) This is before I began taking Met (which was just last Thursday)...However, I work out 5-6 days a week...3-4 on the elliptical for 40 minutes, and weight train my arms with dumbbells and my legs on the machines 1-2 times a week. I have been consistent with both...but not too restrictive with the diet program. Although I am more conscious now that I have been diagnosed.

My only advice to you would be to stick with it and don't give up, and maybe check out weight watchers.
