Becky, Don't give up on children yet. Many women who have PCOS are able to have children. It may be more difficult for us, but not impossible. There are several things along the way that you can do to help yourself become more fertile and get your cycle back to normal. I sent out a post earlier today - I'd suggest you read that for starters. Take some time to introduce yourself to the syndrome. I know it is overwhelming at first, but once we get a grip on what this encompasses, we can begin working with ourselves to heal, or at least protect ourselves from getting worse. When I first was diagnosed I hadn't had a period in months. Now I get them monthly. I don't think I ovulate all the time, but it is a beginning. Feel free to ask questions. It may take a while, but someone usually responds. This is a good place to get information or confirmation on ideas. luv, Leslie
