I was told today that I may have polycystic ovaries. I have gained weight in the last couple of months and not sure why. My periods are real sporadic and intercourse is extremely painful. My doctor told me that my levels were opposite of what they should be--like the level that should be low was high and vice versa. He wants to wait until April to see what happens! He is hoping that everything will even out, but things have been this way for at least 3 months or more. I just need some info about this syndrome and what are the symptoms.
