Isabella,

Sorry to hear you have had such an awful time with this.

Have you had any sort of allergy testing done? I'm sure that you are aware of it, but often the migraines can be contributed to food or environmental allergies. I am aware of two types of testing - the scratch testing and blood sample testing. The first is often done by the traditional methods, while the second is preferred by most naturopathic physicians. I don't really understand what the difference is. From experience, I know that the first method won't necessarily point out all the foods you might have a sensitivity to. I get violent reactions to certain foods that won't show up on a scratch test, so I know it doesn't encompass everything.

You will also probably find your candidiasis problem will create less havoc with your system as you cut down on your carb intake. If you have it systemically, this too could cause your migraines.

Have you had an insulin test done? If not, make sure your doctor gives you that, especially if everything else is inconclusive. This is a difficult syndrome to diagnose as everyone has different symptoms.

Most women with PCOS tend not to ovulate on their own, unless they have been doing a lot of self-help work, so if you are, this is very good news. If you are uncertain about the results that you have received from your doctor, consider visiting a naturopath (if you have that option). They have other tests that are fairly accurate and give a good description of what is going on with your body that the regular medical world doesn't have access to. It is something to consider anyway.
