Re: I was diagnoses with PCOS yesterday and I am not sure what to do.From: Julie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 4 Jan 2001 09:19:30 -0600 (CST)
Hello. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16 and since I wasn't planning a family didn't think much of it. I am now 25 and married and just about ready to have children. My doctor put me on the pill to "save my eggs." I have been to three different doctors and they all agree that the eggs need to be preserved due to the fact that with PCOS you release several immature eggs a month. I will be given 6 months to try on my own and the clomid will be started. Hope this helps.
