On the borderlineFrom: Isabella (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 4 Jan 2001 08:29:27 -0600 (CST)
I'm having such a frustrating time with both my GP and private specialist its making me depressed - basically I had a suspected burst cyst back in October and didn't have a period for 10 weeks, so I had all the tests done for PCOS (bloods and scan)and they came back inconclusive. The specialist said at the time she ordered the tests I was probably ovulating - would this have affected the results? For background purposes, I am hypothyroid and have always had irregular periods and can no longer take the pill because it gives me candidiasis systemically. I'm currently trying to cut down on my carb intake and take a bit more exercise, but this is very difficult when I feel so awful most of the time. I get lots of migraine type headaches but have been told that my test results did not show up enough of a raised prolactin level to be the cause. Should I ask to have the blood tests done again? Any advice would be hugely appreciated. Isabella.
