I don't suppose there is any rule that says you have to eat breakfast food for breakfast. I don't always do it. These are some of my lo-carb things to eat, so maybe they will do the trick for you: pepperoni bites and cheese bites (I get the Hormel pepperoni chunks, already cut in a pillow pack, at Kroger and I get the cheese cubes there too); sugarfree jello with whipped cream (yippee!); C-A-S-H-E-W-S (9 carbs to 2 oz., but I feel like this is really decadent, so it makes me feel good to eat them); lunch meat (I roll up pieces of turkey, etc., like they are on a deli tray and eat them like finger foods -- sounds silly, but it works for me). I haven't had cereal since before Thanksgiving, and I really haven't missed it. I do miss the occasional baked potato, but I've had them. My husband is having pasta-withdrawal, but then he's Mr. Spaghetti, so who knows. Hang in there.
