Becky - More Low Carb Stuff....

Glad you found a few tips from my last post. Breakfast is certainly the worst challenge - with no ceral, toast, bagel, muffin, pancakes, etc... What's Left!?!? I've been getting WASA Bread ( a cracker like thing that is low carb- I find it in the diet/special food section at Wal-Mart & Kroger). I spread anything and everything I can on a piece of that for breakfast, like cream cheese or the Brummel & Brown fruit butters ( not too much of those, tho). Any kind of eggs with a little bacon or sausage. The WASA helps when you are dying to chomp into a box of crackers or chips - it satisfies that "crunch" urge. Anything "legal" that you can toss in a blender is good for a quick breakfast, too. Some milk and fresh fruit (strawberries are good), add a little Cool Whip, too. Its low carb & low sugar for serving size. And always remember to get all the water down you can. Especially if you are taking Spiro. Hope this helps a little. Hang in There! You're welcome to e-mail me if you wish.
