Hi Mellisa, I was diagnosed with PCOS earlier this year and am insulin resistant, so I have been low carbing. You said you were told you were not insulin resistant - what test did you have done and what were the levels? The best way to decide about a low carb diet is to simply dive in and try it for a couple weeks. If you feel better amd lose weight, then it's probably an option for you. I've lost 35 pounds in 10 weeks and cannot believe how much better I feel. You are welcome to e-mail me if you'd like to talk more. Good Luck.
