Confused

I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago. The only medication I was given was b.c. pills. I have put on alot of weight, again. I was able to get pregnant once before when I lost alot of weight. I did that several years ago, using low fat. I have recently seen that everybody with PCOS is (or seems to be)doing low carb. I have tried low carb, but just don't think it's for me. I love fruit and veggies, and end up cheating because I miss them so.I also hate meat.

Is anyone having any luck with any diet other than low carb? I had my blood sugar tested and it was at the low end? Does this mean that maybe I'm not insulin resistant? Any help would much be appreciated.
