Hi Kim, I'm 43 and was diagnosed 11/10. I have been faithfully low carbing since my diagnosis and feel LOTS better and am losing weight. I'm not following any one specific diet, but cut out sugar completely, limit my carb intake, no caffeine, and not too much artificial sweetner. Believe it or not, some people react to that the same as sugar!! Have you been tested for insulin resistance? I was actually diagnosed with IR first, then PCOS right after. It is also helpful to never eat a carb by itself, but to always add a protein with it. Good luck and you're welcome to e-mail me if I can help you further.
