I know how hard it is when you want a child so much. I was married for
5 years before I had my son. I had thought that maybe it wasn't going
to happen for me and I was devestated. All I ever wanted to be was a
mom. But, I was lucky - clomid worked for me. I took 150 mg/day - it
was hard with the side effects. Mood swings, hot flashes. But, it
worked, and my son in now almost 14! When he was 2, we decided to try
for another child, and it took 10 months on clomid. I was going to give
it up because I couldn't take the side effects any more. But, the very
month I decided to quit, I found out I was pregnant! I was 28 when I had
my daughter 10 years ago.
Hang it there and keep trying. Sometimes it takes awhile.
