I took Meridia for a while, and it worked well for me -- that is until PCOS kicked up in full force again and then it didn't do much. I was very pleased with it while I took it. Many insurances (or so I understand) don't pay for this medication and I believe it was about $80-$120 depending on where it was purchased, but fortunately I got the best price at my local drug store and my carrier paid the bill, so the expense wasn't so bad.
