Dawnie, That is great that you responded to the clomid and became pregnant.
I was finally diagnosed with PCO while undergoing fertility treatment.
Growing up I always had extremely heavy (always anemic and even had to have
a blood transfusion) and long periods(had to take provera or birth control
to make them stop) I also would go a couple of months without having a
period. I had to go through it all to get pregnant------clomid,HCG
shots,Metrodin,Pergonal,insemination and finally invitro fertilization.My
Doctor told me I would be a good case for invitro, because I made lots of
eggs and patients with PCO often were successful with invitro. It worked for
me ------I now have twin 4 yearolds. Hang in there, especially if you have
had a pregnancy with the clomid------you are difinetly responding to
fertility drugs.Good luck!Kat
