I need a friend and maybe a diet buddy...

Just started metformin today and am going to begin one of the diets (the doctor referred me to a pcos website - could use some advice on which one to pick out of all the diets though), anyway, I could use a friend who has this disorder who can offer support when I'm feeling down because of the hirsutism or being overweight or just not feeling "normal". I'm just hoping to find someone who feels the same way I do. I'm 35, was married for 12 years and never had children. I've been divorced for 2 years and am now dating a wonderful man who is very supportive and wants to eventually marry and try to have children. I am very, very anxious about this. I'm told if I lose weight and do all the things the doctor recommends that I could have a chance to have children. So, please, if there is someone in my area or in Texas that has PCOS and understands what I'm going through or is battling their weight, please email me and I'll be your support too. Maybe we can share recipes, etc. Thank you and God Bless :)
