There are other things that can do that. This helps retard hair growth/loss by blocking the ability of testosterone to change into its stronger form. When I was on met, it did not stop the hair loss, nor the whisker growth. As a replacement for met, I now use a cornucopia of things, the primary ones being a good magnesium, manganese, and chromium supplement, CLA, and Gymnema. So far, so good.
