I was diagnosed 15 years ago with having "hormone problems" when I tried getting pregnant for the first time. Then, I was not given a name, only just recently was I told PCOS. I took Clomid to get pregnant with both of my children, I am over weight, mood swings, acne, and the dreaded facial hair. My problems are that the "birth control pill treatments" cause me to have high blood pressure. I walk 3 miles 4 days a week, and lift weights. I watch what I eat (fats, sugars, carbs, & cholest.) I still cannot lose the weight, so what is the "Zone Diet?" And, has anyone tried using flaxseeds or soy products for an alternative treatment for the high androgens?
