Kelly, See if you can find a Slimming World class in your area; they aren't specifically set up for insulin resistance but the eating plan is based on low glycaemic index foods, which makes it a better plan for IR than the free-for-all of WeightWatchers etc. The website is http://www.slimmingworld.co.uk. I've lost about 20 lbs in three months, with rather a lot more to lose ... but it's an easy eating plan to follow, and makes sense nutritionally. Hope this helps, Anne
