Hi Wendy,

I don't know if you are aware of this, but Glucophage is the brand name for Metiformin. There is a new drug on the market that is manufactured by the same company as Glucophage, called Glucovance, which is supposed to combine metiformin with some other substance to make a better insulin controlling drug. I don't know if it is standard practice to use this with people with PCOS, as it, like metiformin, is for diabetes II, but it might be worth asking about.
