>Dear Kelly, I am 39 years old and was diagnozed with pcos 4 month ago. I had not had a period in 3 months. My doctor prescibed "2000 mg of glucophage" per day with a combination of the diet book "Protein Power". Within six weeks,of being on the diet and meds I have had a regular period and have since then, plus I lost 30LBs. I believe the key is cutting way down on your carbo intake. The book I mentioned can be purchased at book stores or amazon.com. Good luck to you!
