Did your doctor prescribe any prescription drugs to lower your cholesterol/triglycerides? I've been on Baycol (for triglycerides) for about 6 weeks. My triglycerides dropped from 2083 to 288. My cholesterol also went down from 209 to 168. I think the other key to my improvement is that I've lost 8 pounds using Xenical, which has allowed me to eat normally (although I do watch the fat intake) and not have the psychological problems that can go along with weight loss because I'm not feeling deprived. I'm also on Avandia for IR.

Hope this helps.
