I have switched to a lower Carb way of life. I do not follow an exact plan (ZONE, Adkins, CAD, etc..). I have read all those diet books and I have come up with something that works for me for now. First, I cut out all the sugars, coke, refined flour, rice, potatoes, pasta, bread, carrots, yogurt, etc.... all the really high carb foods I was consuming! I am on Met (1000g daily), and I walk in the mornings 4-5 times a week. I have lost about 30lbs(in 4 months), but I feel MUCH better. I am not near as tired, my joints don't ache as much, my cycles are at 31 days now (used to be 70days). I always eat a protein with every meal and snack, I do add low carb fruits and lower carb bread. I have about 50 more pounds to go, I plan on it being a SLOW process. I also am going to TTC #2 - now that my cycles are getting on track. good luck!! Lisa
