Dr. Ezrin's Insulin Control Diet

Hi!

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 4 years ago. I recently visited my doctor (it has taken me 4 years to find a doctor who will take my concerns and requests seriously), and she is going to put me on metformin, aldactone and BCP for the symptoms (I'm not ttc). I have two questions for anyone who would care to answer:

1. This seems like a lot of medication. Is anyone taking all three and how's it going. I'd just like some feedback.

2. A friend recommended Dr. Ezrin's Type II Diabetes Diet Book (also called The Insulin Control Diet) and I'm VERY please with what he has to say. I highly recommend it to PCOS patients. I'm wondering if any one out there has had success with this diet?

Thanks for your insight and comments,
