the Zone diet - it works but has anyone lost weight?

I've been following the Zone diet for the past 5 months with excellent results, at least according to my bloodwork. In three months' time, zone eating, exercise and glucophage have brought my fasting insulin, cholesterol and testosterone levels down to low normal. On paper, it appears that this regimen has reversed my PCOS. Good news for sure, however looking at me is another story. After all this hard work, I still have 20 out of the 25 lbs I gained at the onset of my insulin resistance about 3 years ago. Ugh!! My thyroid function is normal and my insulin levels are so low as to not be interfering with weight loss, so I can't understand what the problem is. Is there anybody out there that has lost a significant amount of weight on the Zone. It seems to work fine for the folks with Type II diabetes, but I've not met anybody with PCOS who's tried the Zone and succeeded with substantial weight loss. Thanks in advance for any insight.
