Ladies,
I'm not an expert and can only remember some of the posts I have read on
the regular PCOS discussion board about high protein/low carb diets. You
may want to check the archives about this. High protein/low carb diets
can cause not only liver problems, but kidney as well. What I have
found that is helping me a bit (right now it's offset by a big ovarian
cyst but I'm hoping it is on it way to dissolving) is a modified
diabetic diet. I eat a few less carbs than they say, but am still
getting some carbs. I cannot tolerate a really low carb diet. Hope
