I don't know about the metformin, but I assume that since it works against the insulin resistance, it is doing the same thing. You may want to try a different diet -- I have seen a lot of people liking the Carbohydrate Addicts diets -- something that is not as extreme as the Adtkins diet. >My question is this: If a high protein diet helps women >with PCOS, Why does a high protein diet make my liver test >out of range, therefore "dangerous" while I am using >Metformin?
