I've had steady vaginal bleeding and cramping (although not excessive)and still have to date. When I went for the weekly follow-up my GYN said that was normal and if continued after another week to contact her. When I contacted her a week later, she said it was still o.k. if it was not heavy. I just got a call from her 17 days post-surgery asking me if the bleeing is still continuing. I advised her it was, and now she wants me to have a biopsy if it still continuing in 7 days. What exactly will a biopsy show? If the source of the bleeding is from the surgery itself (possibly not healing correctly)will she be able to tell from the biopsy? I also noticed afer intercourse the bleeding increases. Would this aggravate something that has not healed somehow? I'm becoming very concerned. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
