yogurt, dairy, and low carbing

Evidently, yogurt (oddly, especially skim milk yogurt) is relatively high in carbs. But I have been able to keep high blood pressure under control by increasing my intake of low-fat dairy products and vegetables over the past few years, after reading about a study at that time. Also, I have osteopoenia from years of antiandrogen medications. So I am loathe to give up yogurt, dry-curd cottage cheese and the like, and just eat meat and fish at every meal. Anybody got anything to say about dairy products in a low-carb diet or their effect on insulin production?

Many thanks and cheers to all -- Alina
