I have had great results with my cholesterol and the Atkins “diet”. My total cholesterol went down 22% from 231 to 182 in only four months. No drugs, just changed what I was eating. I do not miss the fruit, never cared much for fruit anyway I’ve always been a veggie eater. I think I actually eat more veggies now than I did before changing to a low carb eating plan.

I am still amazed that ALL my cholesterol levels are better eating what I’ve been eating, and yes I am also losing weight.
