Dear patient (you forgot to sign your name) CIN 1 and HPV are a very common feature in pap smears. It menas that you have an abnormality in your cervix. This IS NOT cancer, but the presence of HPV (a virus 98% sexually transmitted disease, the other 2% is by medical instruments, i.e. speculum) put you in closer surveillance. I suggest that you talk to your doctor. A colposcopy will help to locate the atypical cells, and according to its appearance, a suggestion or a follow-up will be done. But, keep cool, don't get anxious, be in touch with your ObGyn
