Welcome to the Endometriosis Zone...

In the September update of the Endometriosis Zone, we are delighted to include an in depth look at the use of laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis of the bowel, bladder, ureter and diaphragm [ http://www.endozone.org/secure/hot_topic.asp ] from Professor Camran Nezhat et al (Stanford University Medical Center, USA). Don't forget to let us have your views on this surgical technique. How do you use it in your practice?

Professor Jacques Donnez has provided us with an update of the current literature, summarising a number of recent key papers in our article review section [ http://www.endozone.org/secure/review.asp ]. We've added more links to our directory of useful resources [ http://www.endozone.org/secure/links.asp ], including both physician- and patient-related information, and our review of what your patients are reading discusses the subject of hysterectomy [ http://www.endozone.org/secure/pat_info.asp ].

Feedback [ http://www.endozone.org/secure/feedback.asp ] this month concentrates on Priv-Doz Ulrich Cirkel's case history and hot topic on GnRH agonist therapy for pre-surgical treatment of uterine myoma [ http://www.endozone.org/secure/c_hist.asp ]. Professor Eric Thomas, Professor Ian Fraser and Professor William Schlaff also reply to your queries on infertility, psychosomatic factors and add-back therapy.
