Are you an OBGYN.net Lurker?From: Roberta Speyer (roberta.speyer@obgyn.net)Wed, 04 Feb 1998 06:14:19 -0600
Do you work in the Women's Health Industry? Marketing, Sales, Advertising, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Publishing, Law, Managed Care, Recruitment, ... If so it's time to come out of the woodwork! AUNT ROBERTA NEEDS YOU! OBGYN.net has plans to expand our third primary planet: OBGYN.net INDUSTRY We would like to use the same model that worked so well with our Medical Professional and Women and Patients Sections. And what is that you may ask??? Simple, get the people that will be using the site involved in it's creation and management. That means all you Lurkers that come to OBGYN.net to find out more about your market...it's time to get legitimatized and join the family. Here are some of the plans so far: o This site will follow the OBGYN.net tradition of free access for you, the participants. You will help us design and manage it. Eventually we will find sponsors that want to reach you (ah yes, the hunter becomes the prey). When we do the 10% model of returning funds to the community for discretionary use will be applied. o Set up a Board of Industry leaders from around the world to help oversee the quality of our offerings. o Launch a Women's Health specific interactive Marketing Forum. I can hardly wait! I love talking about this stuff. :-) o Provide educational information on how to get the most out of the Internet. o Have monthly articles by industry marketing experts like Frost & Sullivan o Expand our databases for jobs, events calendar, and news feeds to focus on industry. o Simplified one point access to registering your company in appropriate OBGYN.net database applications for women and medical professionals. What else would YOU like to see in OBGYN.net Industry? Would YOU like to be involved as an Advisor? If so it's time to come out of the woodwork! Email me and I'll add your name to a list we're putting together to discuss the possibilities. It's time to populate our planet at OBGYN.net. I'm really excited about the possibilities and potential. You see, I AM you. I'm in Medical publishing, sales, and marketing and PROUD OF IT! We need a place to hang out, network, and access resources. Come on, join in, this could be fun. Email me, I don't bite. Well sometimes I do but I promise to behave myself... Roberta
