Dear Fellow Burnout Candidates, I've just posted a list of new fee reductions from Ethix, Blue Cross, PHCS, Anthem and NYLCare. Sigh! This really starts looking bleak when you scroll down through the THREE HUGE WEB PAGES of fee cuts I've been posting for the past two months. Something is going to have to break soon because these relentless cuts cannot continue indefinitely. When will doctors get mad enough? As usual, please forward this to everyone on your email list. Remember to ask your anesthesiologist friends to post the URL in the Doctors' Lounge of every OR in town. I encourage each of you to write emails to your state and national professional organizations (AAFP, ACP, Pedi, etc.) and ask them to publicize this web site. (Many of their addresses are at the bottom of the "What Can be Done?" page.) Feel free to post the URL of this site to any mailing list or bulletin board you wish. The more the merrier.
