Dear Fellow Burnout Candidates, In case you haven't checked in lately, there are a number of new items under "The Latest Bad News". You might also click to "Letters" from the top of that page to read some of the GREAT email we've been getting. I'd encourage everyone who hasn't done so recently to scroll quickly through every page of the site because I've added lots of new things. Please note the top item on "Bad News", the letter from Steve Levine at the TMA who basically just blew me off unless I reveal my identity. I can't help wondering why he finds it so durned important to know who I am when the facts on the web site are self-explanatory -- makes me all the more determined not to give up my anonymity. It's interesting that he sees his job as one of censorship -- he's decided that he's the one who'll determine how doctors communicate with one another (and about what) via the TMA. If you're moved to do so, you might drop ol' Steve an email and remind him that we pay his salary and we'd appreciate it if he'd facilitate communication rather than impeding it.
