Hi AllCouple of posts about messages not appearing on the ob-gyn-l forum have appeared this month.
Over a year ago we made subscription to the ob-gyn-l mandatory in order to post. Also did this for the ultrasound forum. This was done by request of the forum members who did not want any posts appearing by non-medical professionals or spam. Only way to guarantee that was to make subscription mandatory for posting.
If you post a message and are not a subscriber you will receive an email message letting you know you need to subscribe to the forum in order to post messages. However, if you did not send it from a valid email you won't see the return message.
Reading posts by the web is open to everyone without subscription.
It does not matter if you post by sending email to ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net or using the web page to post a message or reply.
What can be confusing is that you might be subscribed by one email address but if you try posting by a different address it will be refused. The administrator (me) can create an alias to solve that problem that says the 2nd, 3rd, ... email address is also valid for that subscription.
If you only read ob-gyn-l by the web you still must be a subscriber to post messages. However, you can set your subscription to "postpone" status which means you will be a subscriber but will receive no ob-gyn-l emails.
At this point if you still have problems posting messages to ob-gyn-l please email me and I will get it resolved.
Same goes for the ultrasound forum and obgin-l forum.
Thank you Bruce
