Guess you'd *start* the section on 12/31 <G>! I'd have to tell you, up where I work, nobody would get away with it. Apart from any concerns about Y2K (and we are doing contingency planning, just in case), we are seeing a large increase in women due from mid-Dec onward. We're gonna be up to our armpits dealing with the spontaneous labours w/o dealing w/ any crap like that. The hospital has already stated that there will be *no* inductions on 12/31 unless absolutely medically indicated. I've told 'em, you'd better tell women *no castor oil* on New Years Eve, either. We already have in our practice. There are no holidays being granted to nursing staff over X-mas/New Years, either.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
