Conception & PillsFrom: Kim (kmarshall@teletubbies.zzn.com)Sat Oct 23 13:37:54 1999
I have a question about getting pregnant once you stop the pill. I have been taking the pill (Sunday start) for about 10 days once my period started and I stopped taking them. On about the 13th day I had intercourse. Which made it 3 day's without taking my birth control pills. Well, the next day I started to bleed which lasted for about 3 1/2 days. I am now pregnant and trying to find out when conception could have taken place?? I also had intercourse around 12 days after I had the bleeding once I stopped the pills. Could conception have taken place then???
-- Thanks

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
