The problem is not with marijauna, per se, as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is not a proven teratogen. The problem is the fact that most users don't get their THC from a pharmacist or other appropriately licensed source and the other elements in the "package" are undefined. Therefore, it is impossible to cite specific risk estimates.
