Had normal glucose screen, too. In answer to your second question: we(i.e. midwives)are not paid in that manner. We are compensated for an entire course of care including pregnancy,labour/birth and 6 weeks postpartum. It's intended to be an incentive to provide exactly the sort of care you describe.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
