Well I also check the gestation with B mode ultrasound and directly notice the amount of amniotic fluid. A dry babe with scanty fluid in the second trimester is still an ominous sign. By the way have you also noticed some cases of leaking fluids and ceasing to leak after a while with or without antibiotic trreatment?
