Ashley, The point I was trying to make is that I would honor the patients wishes, since she understands the risks. We do c/s for various indications, some very questionable. This women already has her plate full, why create any further stress. This, of course, hinges on your personal ethics, if you feel it goes against your personal beliefs...then turf to someone else.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
