doxycicline usage in pregnancyFrom: Bülent Uran (nisa@unimedya.net.tr)Wed Aug 25 10:07:49 1999
We have patient, G4P1A2, 35 yo, 12 wks in this pregnancy. Normal appearence in US. NT 1.1 mm. She was used doxycicline 1 capsule each day between 22nd and 44 th postmenstrual days. The family is very anixous for the potential teratogenic effects of the drug. They want advice about termination or continuation of pregnancy. Any comment? Thanks in advance.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
