Ron--I had same case many years ago--in fact I delivered a child a year ago from that C/S. Mother --sweet lady -had first baby with CNS disease--eventually died---years of anguish. She requested C/S---remember that was about 21 years ago...I agreed-- I don't regret it. If she understands the whole picture and has an honest well informed consent--no problem. As Jim says --C/S are done for far lesser reasons-- I,IMHO, would give Valtrex anyway--suppose she has a very rapid labor---
