Don't know if anyone has done any further research on this since this article was published, but the case reports were impressive and it is certainly non-invasive, cheap, and simple. I'm a big fan of anything non-invasive, cheap and simple, assuming everything else is under control and the baby is okay otherwise. Can't hurt, anyway.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
