I agree with you Geff...but as sadly as it may be, this argument, as with many others, the courts will decide for us. A case will come when someone will insert an IUD….or whatever..something goes wrong and the decision will come.... I personally believe that an IUD should be placed by a competent physician who made the proper counseling and patient selection AND can deal with the possible complications….that's my humble opinion. No more comments on my part..…promise..:-)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
